I bought these wheels and they are gorgeous, got a great deal. 18x8.5 +37 and 18x9.5 +41. The rears fit perfect. The fronts fit OK, but the offset is a little too high. I think about 10mm less, or a 25-27 offset would be way better looking. I really don't want spacers or to try and find other fronts (these are way hard to find). I found some info on modifying wheels, i.e. fitting new lips and widening, changing offsets. My thoughts are I could have the current lip or new lips fitted that are wider and then "band" off or shave the inside barrel on a lathe, changing them to a lower offset. There was references to guys doing stuff like this on fucks wheels for their Porches and changing them from one to three piece etc. What are some thoughts? I would need to find a shop around Philly to do this.
